William Shakespeare is a very talented writer. Shakespeare lets us know from the beginning of the story that the characters would die, and that Romeo and Juliet were star-crossed lovers. But, we all wondered the way they would die, or why they would die. Romeo and Juliet is a love story, which catches many readers attention. We all wanted to know the climax and the most interesting parts of the story, so we had to keep reading until we got to it. Also, most of Shakespeare's writing has double meaning, so the reader becomes very interested in the book. Some parts of the book make us think maybe they are not going to die or can they end up together. Then he brings in the tragedy and surprises us, even though we knew what was already going to happen. Shakespeare's unique way of writing keeps us wanting to read "Romeo and Juliet" even if the ending is already known from the beginning.
